Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the iTool toolkit and account services at itool.tech. iTool is a browser toolkit for developers and productivity users. It is not the iOS device manager iTools, or other similarly named industrial or hardware brands.

Account data: when you sign up or sign in with email, we store your email address and the encrypted password credentials held by our identity provider.

Social sign-in: if you continue with Google or GitHub, we receive the basic profile you authorize, typically email, name, and avatar, so we can create or sign in to your iTool account. We never receive those providers’ passwords.

Membership: redeeming a Pro activation code binds that redemption to your signed-in account so we can track plan expiry.

Usage analytics: we may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand how pages are used and to improve the product. This is not used to identify you by real name.

Tool content: most tools run locally in your browser and do not upload what you type. A few AI or server-assisted features send only the content you explicitly submit for that task.

To register and authenticate you, keep your session, and provide favorites, settings, and Pro benefits.

To send necessary account emails such as verification and password reset.

To protect the service, including abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies or similar storage for sign-in sessions and language preference.

Some tools may keep drafts or preferences in your browser. You can clear them at any time.

Accounts and authentication are provided by Supabase.

Google sign-in is provided by Google. GitHub sign-in is provided by GitHub. Each is subject to that provider’s privacy policy.

Site analytics may use Google Analytics.

Some AI features call third-party model providers, and only with content you submit in that feature.

Account data is kept while your account exists, unless we must retain it by law. You may ask us to delete your account and related data.

You may access and update account details, or stop using Google sign-in if another sign-in method is available.

The service is intended for adults. If you are a minor, use it only with a guardian’s consent and guidance.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
